G. Jackson Hughes, Jr.
President
 President of Hughes Commercial Properties since 1996, Jackson Hughes
has worked in real estate and development since his graduation from
Wofford College in 1976. He has developed and managed shopping centers
with Hughes Real Estate, medical office buildings and custom homes with
JAG Inc., and neighborhood and community shopping centers with US
Shelter Corp. His experience with shopping centers and office buildings
continued in his positions as Founder/Principal of Carolina Holdings
Inc. and Vice President of Hughes Development Inc. Jackson is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers
and a member of the Executive Committee of Carolinas Golf Association,
as well as the head of the committee to relocate the Carolinas Golf
Association headquarters.
He enjoys competitive golf and flying. He is married to Velda Hughes
and they have three children. Jackson is a member of Christ Episcopal
Church.
